Art Deco Engagement Rings

The term art deco, originated from the Paris Esposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes of 1925. The genre reflects a diverse assortment of eclectic designs, with influences taken from far and wide. From sources such as the Cubist painters, from Ancient Egypt (inspired by the discoveries of the time such as Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922 and the birth of Egyptomania. The influences all reflected the time that this style originated, with travel, art, and advances in technology all contributing and influencing its evolution.
