For as long as diamonds have been used to create rings, diamond cluster rings have been created to provide an entirely different look altogether from the solitaire ring that will always remain popular. There are an enormous range of designs available for diamond clusters, some very traditional and others with a more contemporary, fashionable feel to them. Each will appeal to each persons tastes along with their budget. One of the advantages of a diamond cluster is one of cost. The equivalent diamond colour, clarity and weight in a single diamond would cost considerably more than a cluster of that same weight. In this way, it is possible to gain a greater overall diamond weight at a more affordable price.

It is not only cost that is an important factor. Another consideration is one of show. Diamond clusters are generally much larger due to the spacing of a number of diamonds over the ring. Each diamond is held within its own setting. This in turn leads for the need for a larger area of ring for the diamonds to be set into. Some of our cluster rings provide a solitaire like appearance for a fraction of the cost of a solitaire ring. In many of these designs, each diamond is arranged to form a round solitaire like setting, giving the illusion of a single stone from a distance.

 Due to the large quantity of diamond cluster rings that are available, lacking a certain design element, we have introduced a range of clusters that are perfect as either engagement rings or right hand rings. Many of the designs feature a large central diamond (which can be custom made with an alternative precious stone if required, such as a sapphire.) Surrounding this large central diamond are smaller high colour and clarity (G VS1) diamonds making up a dazzling show of diamonds, all cut to provide the maximum amount of fire from each stone. Most of these rings are available to order in 18ct White Gold, Platinum or even 18ct Yellow Gold.

Many of the designs we can provide, allow for a wedding ring to be worn alongside. Take for example the design below. The image shows a court wedding ring sat below the main focus of the ring, flush against the band of the cluster ring.

One of our newest designs is a very decadent design, inspired by the opulent styles introduced by such designers as Faberge and Cartier. Outer diamonds are set within mirrored half bezel settings with a total of three different sizes of diamonds. The focus of this ring is a large central diamond that forms the most eye catching element to this particular design. Seen above, this particular ring style has become increasingly popular since its launch in 2008. Other designs incorporate wrap-around pave set diamonds surrounding a central single certified central diamonds. Such cluster rings mark a move away from more traditional models, with new innovative styles woven into the range of designs available.
