Both engraved wedding rings and engraved diamond engagement rings offer that extra personal touch to your rings. We are happy to have your wedding rings engraved for you for as an additional service. We can provide any style of font and combination of wording on the inside or outside of any wedding ring, for this price. We can even engrave a fingerprint, by laser.  The detail is truly remarkable with laser engraved rings, and wording, patterns and images can be added, providing a truly personal message between a couple. We are even able to arrange for a sample of a hand written message to be scanned and laser engraved on the item of jewellery.

We now offer laser engraving, as part of our service. The engraving can be applied to either the outside or inside of any engagement ring or wedding ring in a font of your choice. Currently very popular are Roman Numerals engraved wedding rings on the interior or the exterior of a pair of rings, which we can even offer the addition of small flush set diamonds used as separators between each element of the date.

Engraved wedding rings and engagement rings are often requested with something very personal between two people, a song lyric, or even something possibly written in Latin which is always a popular choice of engraving. Latin phrases have a habit of looking beatifully worded and many of the words are suited to engraving due to their short length. With laser engraved engagement rings or wedding rings, the wording is scaled down to fit, so the only restriction will be how readable the size of the text is. It might be difficult to think of what to engrave inside a wedding ring, but there are so many ideas. Perhaps the first text message you ever sent, as we engraved recently on a wedding ring, or in one particular instance, we engraved online dating usernames onto the inside of each ring, belonging to a couple who met on an internet dating site. We have even inscribed a verse written in ancient Egyptian, laser enscribed hierogplphs around the exterior of flat court profile wedding bands.

How do I arrange my engraving and how much does it cost?

Depending on the engraving, the cost will vary, but below there is a guide to the cost for the additonal cost on top of the ring itself. We require the wording and choice of font (can be chosen from any word processor) to be emailed to us to avoid any margin for error. This is sent straight across to the engraver and will appear word for word. If you have ordered a ring to us, or have sent in rings to be engraved, once we have this information we can begin work. Please allow 1-2 weeks for the engraved engagement ring or wedding ring to be completed. Following engraving we normally need to re-finish the ring to remove any minor scratches that may be present following the engraving. This ensures the rings are not only engraved but perfectly finished when returned to you. Payment is required at the final stage prior to delivery and can be arranged by phone with card details. If you are sending in a ring to us, please contact us if you require our address to forward your ring for engraving.
