These factors are what are generally referred to as The Four C's.
Each factor can vary greatly or subtly, so for example diamonds that are very white might have a low clarity grade and similarly diamonds that are near to flawless might be very low on the colour scale. Sometimes people favour colour over clarity, and sometimes it's the opposite.
Diamond Fluorescence.
It's just personal preference.
Diamonds do not have to be at the top of each grade to be beautiful stones. It is merely a way to objectively compare and evaluate diamonds.
