Six Claw Twist Ring

Twist styles of engagment rings have, over the last few years, been added to the Serendipity Diamonds product pages, and are largely chosen due to their simplicity. Usually this style of ring is a one part mount, as opposed to a two or three part ring which has components mounted to form the finished ring. Twist styles of engagement ring, largely concentrate on the twist setting, which can have varying amounts of claws, or prongs to hold the diamond. Most styles are largely secure, and it is not just the more traditional shape of diamond that can be applied to these designs. We have a very elegant princess twist engagement ring, R1D035 which has a Princess cut diamond oriented in a north-east-south-west setting.

Six claw twist settings are a little more unusual on the whole, with few designs of this style being available. This is often due to the complexity of bringing a full six claws from gently tapering shoulders, and how exactly to place them, so that they flow seamlessly from the band of the ring. By choosing a simple court profile of band, and combining this with the basic design of style R1D002 the four claw twist design, and adding two additional claws, we have an elegant design, that offers that little bit more security for the diamond for anyone wanting a twist design, but demanding six claws instead of the more minimal four.

Style R1D086 is the first six claw twist setting to become available on our website and is one of many engagement rings that is certain to be a very popular design through 2012 and beyond.
